Early morning projects.

I had a couple of things I really needed to get done this morning so I gave the girls some paper and crayons and asked them to write me a book.

Sam's obviously wasn't going to be much of anything but she did a little bit of coloring and then just put the crayons in the box and then dumped them out and continued doing that for 20 or so minutes, about what I expected. Liz's books on the other hand were pretty good! She drew a lot of pictures and tried to write some words, after I finished cleaning I asked her to read them to me and these are the three stories that I got:
1) Mom this one is the story of a princess that had a lot to do! See here she is cleaniiiiiiiing and cooooooooking and coloriiiiiing and vacuumiiiiiing and eeeatiiing and washing diiisheees. Then end.
2) This one I drew for Daddy and its a picture of a storm. See the storm cloud? Sammy helped me draw that. Then the sun comes out and these beautiful flowers grew. (long pause) That's all I drew, I don't really know how to make books yet.
3) This one is for babies. There are 10 boys, 10 girls, 3 babies, 7 dads, and 5 moms and they are all having a big party outside cause its such a beautiful day outside.

So cute! Then she turned one of the books over and started writing a letter to daddy, this is what she said

"Dear Dad,
You went to the Little Gym with me once and you take care of me all the time at home. I miss you and I will always miss you. Please come home.
Love Lizzy"
